Daitaiji Temple has a collection of Buddhist statues from each period, including the Heian, Kamakura, Muromachi, and Edo periods, and guided tours are available.

This is a training that has been handed down since the Asuka period, in which you copy the sutras that contain the teachings of Buddha. By carefully copying each character, you can feel your mind calm, relax, and improve your concentration.

Morning porridge is traditionally served as a meal for monks at the temple. Warm porridge is known to improve blood circulation and metabolism, making you healthy from the inside out.
We will guide you how to eat in a way unique to Zen temples: a way to feel and appreciate the value of the life you receive through a meal.
You can experience ringing the temple bell in the evening. If you would like to participate, please inform the staff when you check in.

Morning Service
This is a morning service held in the main hall. Prayers are offered to the principal image, past priests, and deceased parishioners. Participants are offered a talisman to pray for good health.

Listen to a sermon about the connection between Zen and saunas, and look at yourself and nature from a new perspective. The cold water bath is from the Ota River, which shares its source with Nachi Falls. It is a special sauna experience that sharpens your five senses and makes you feel one with nature.
You can also experience strawberry picking at a nearby farm.
