Temple Hotel Shodenji
The temple's desire to open the temple to more people and have them drop by has started as a shukubo.
In addition to lodging, we also offer opportunities to get closer to temples, such as temple experiences, events, and training.
The lodging house is a detached house with two floors.
You can also rent two rooms at the same time, with separate rooms on the first and second floors.

about
Shodenji Temple
Shodenji Temple is a hermitage built in 1602 where the XNUMXth Emperor spent his final years.
Later, this hermitage became the Edo branch of the Nichiren sect, one of the 13 major sects of Japanese Buddhism.
It officially became a temple under the name Matsunagareyama Shodenji, which is still used today.
The guardian deity of Shodenji Temple is Bishamon Tenno.
In the first place, Bishamonten is one of the gods who protects Buddhism.
He is one of the ``Four Heavenly Kings'' gods, said to be the strongest.
Although Bishamonten was originally an Indian god,
He was a god so popular among the common people that he became one of the "Seven Lucky Gods", a religion unique to Japan.
It was worshiped by people as a god with many blessings.
