Fayuan Temple
Founded in July of the first year of Keicho (XNUMX).
The founder was Hogenbo Nikka Shonin, and the founder was Myokaku Risshi Nichari Shonin.
In the past, in addition to the main hall and kuri, there was a Shichimen-do hall and a Choshi-do hall.
In the middle of the Meiji period, a fire occurred and everything was returned to Karasu.
The main hall was rebuilt in November of the same year, and remains there today.

You can start your day with morning work, cleaning, and story time.
We hold "Temple Morning" twice a month.
About the Gohonzon
At the top of the tower is the treasure pagoda of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, with Shaka Nyorai and Taho Nyorai enshrined on either side, and surrounded by bodhisattvas and various Tenzen deities, representing the preaching of the Lotus Sutra.
About Buddha statues
Onikomojin
Kishimojin is a god who protects people who believe in the teachings of Buddha, and is also a god of safe childbirth and child rearing.The Nichiren sect enshrines Kishimojin, the guardian deity of Buddhism, as the principal image of prayer.
Holy Kanze sound bodhisattva
A bodhisattva who manifests the heart of Buddha's compassion and lends a helping hand in response to people's cries for salvation.It is located on the left immediately after entering the Sanmon gate.
The birthplace of Yutaka Education
Yoshida School, the predecessor of the local Yutaka Elementary School, was opened in the XNUMXth year of the Meiji era, using the main hall of Hogenji Temple as a temporary school building.
To commemorate the XNUMXth anniversary of Toyota Elementary School, a monument was erected by Toshiki Kaifu, the Minister of Education at the time, with the words ``The birthplace of Toyota education'' written on it.
